Beginner Basics Tools to Start Your Yoga Practice

In this lesson, we go over the basic tools to have for your yoga practice.

We call these "props" within the yoga community. Give them a try and discover what works best for you and use them for your practice.

Props to consider having nearby:

  • a wall

  • a blanket

  • blocks

  • pillows

  • bolster

  • strap

  • wedge

  • chair - Any type of chair will do, however, chairs without arms on the side are the best tool for this practice.
