15-Minute Muladhara Root Chakra Meditation

Here we dive into the root chakra meditation and invite the Bija Mantra Lam. In this powerful meditation, we take time to connect to the earth and all things that surround us while going deep within and discovering that we are one with all the sounds and vibrations that are arising around us. This is a 15 min meditation intended for you to submerge into a space of balance and relaxation. Be sure to be in a comfortable seat or laying down and be ready to meditate.

The chakras are the subtle energetic wheels of energy known to form along the spinal column. Each one addresses a different aspect of our relationship with ourselves and governs a specific trait. Each of these chakras also impacts our behaviors and aligns with the 7 states of consciousness and the eight limbs of yoga.

Taking time to reground and reset we use the earth as a tool and a vessel for transformation, rooting, and refining. Remember that when we have financial, mental, emotional, spiritual, and foundational imbalances, we tend to break quickly.

In an effort to "stay grounded" in the midst of uncertainty, we must remember that:

a. change is always constant

B. is mostly unpredictable

c.it is a part of our growth.

When we carve out time to root to ourselves and find that moment of stillness in all the chatter, we go beyond the depth of the surface to the essence of all being, and that is the depth of oneness, of all-knowing, of a vastness that is beyond comprehension as there is no need to comprehend but just be.

The root chakra is the foundation. When there are cracks in the foundation, we must fill them and fix them before we can build upon them. If we build on a foundation with cracks in it, we run the chance of coming into ruin. When we build on a solid foundation, expansion is limitless.

We utilize these poses as tools to help explore the different abilities we have by growing through the practice of yoga and adapting the postures to meet our needs. It is a great way to learn balance and embody the experience.
